Tom of Finland

Tom of Finland Tour

Touko Laaksonen alias Tom of Finland has become an international gay culture icon during the years.  But it wasn´t always like that.

Welcome to a theme walking tour to learn about Tom as an artist ‒ how for example a stamp decorated with his art became the most preordered stamp in the world? And get to know Touko the man: how life was very different for a gay man during the Second World War and decades after?

This walk gets you to places you would not imagine to have a secret meaning at all.

We work in official collaboration with Tom of Finland Foundation and Klaus K hotel so this brings you great opportunities for special Tom-style drinks, tour gifts etc!

TIME: Daily according to our guide availability
DURATION: 2 – 2,5 hours

10% of net profit of this tour will be donated to the Tom of Finland Foundation!

Holy Helsinki Walk / Kirkkokierros

Who is St. Urho? What is the Free Church free from? What happens at the Seventh-Day-Adventists’ place on the eighth day?

On Happy Guide Helsinki’s Holy Helsinki Walk, you will skip the famous cathedrals and instead discover some of the less-known sanctuaries of downtown Helsinki. An enthusiastic theologian will guide you to see the oldest, biggest and most Finnish churches in the city centre without forgetting the places of worship of the Muslim community and the Finnish Jews, who amazingly survived the World War II despite Finland’s cooperation with the Nazi regime.

See photos on Facebook >>

Available on all weekdays according to our guide availability, email us for an offer!
